At the top of the watchtower, perched 55 m above the ocean, enjoy an exceptional 360° view of the estuary and forest.

On the walking trail, take in the new art exhibition and game ‘Moon watchers, on the trail of the nocturnal’. In the shelter of the Villa de l'Estuaire, discover the ‘Revivre, les espèces disparues’ exhibition, a unique video mapping experience and an area dedicated to the Cordouan lighthouse, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

OPEN FROM 1 April 2026 TO 1 November 2026

From 1 April to 30 June: Wednesday to Sunday from 2pm to 6pm, except Sundays, public holidays and long weekends, when it is open from 11am to 6pm. 
From 1 July to 31 August: every day from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m.  
From 1 September to 1 November: Wednesday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. except Sundays, public holidays and long weekends from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Last admission 1 hour before the site closes.

Annual closure from November to March.

Domaine de Suzac - Parc de l'Estuaire

In a unique setting at Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, 1h20 from La Rochelle, the Domaine de Suzac is part of the Échappées Nature network run by the Charente-Maritime department. A sensitive and protected natural area covering 5 hectares, the Parc de l'Estuaire aims to preserve the quality of the site, the landscape and the natural environment, and to safeguard natural habitats.
